Booking Terms and Conditions for our courses and classes (sessions).
Definitions
- ‘Client’ means the person/persons who attend the course or any part of it, who is responsible for the payment of fees and who is the contracting party to this contract.
- ‘Course’ means The Beez Kneez Bumps/Mamas and Babies/Mamas or any Course provided by The Beez Kneez as booked by the client.
- ‘Trainer’ means the individual (s), employed by The Beez Kneez to teach the course. Whilst every effort will be taken to maintain consistency of the trainers during the course, The Beez Kneez unreservedly retain the right to change the training staff where necessary.
- ‘Booking form’ means the form relating to the enrolment or reenrolment of the client on a course.
- ‘Fee’ means the full cost of the course.
- ‘The Beez Kneez’ means the company, registered in the UK, as Beez Media Ltd, registration no. 4073737 or person with whom you have entered into this agreement. This is Beez Media Ltd., trading as the Beez Kneez Ltd.,
- ‘Premises’ means the premises where the Beez Kneez course takes place.
- ‘Terms’ means the terms and conditions set out in this document and nay special terms and conditions agreed in writing by The Beez Kneez and the client.
- ‘Session’ means each individual training session of a course.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
- All agreements relating to the teaching of the course by the Beez Kneez to the participant are subject to these terms to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

- No variation or addition to the terms shall be binding unless agreed in writing by The Beez Kneez and the client.
- The Terms shall be deemed to have accepted by the Client upon booking and payment of the fee by the Client.
Privacy Policy
- All information supplied to BEEZ KNEEZ or a BEEZ KNEEZ trainer will remain completely confidential and will never be divulged to any third party.
Premises
- The Beez Kneez will provide the course at the premises and location stated at the time of booking. The Beez Kneez unreservedly retains the right to change the location and premises at any time.
Cancellations and Re-scheduling
- In the event of cancellation by The Beez Kneez prior to the commencement of a course, The Beez Kneez will refund any outstanding fees for outstanding courses.
- The Beez Kneez may cancel this contract at any time before the client commences the course for any reason whatsoever. The Beez Kneez shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.
- There are no refunds on any course unless 72 hours notice has been given and the course has been paid on full.
- If a client is not at the agreed location at the agreed start time for each session of a course, the trainer reserves the right to refuse entry to the session.
- If the session cannot be carried out because access to the premises property is restricted, BEEZ KNEEZ reserves the right to cancel the session or suggest an alternative premises either indoors or outdoors.
- Sessions will run from the appointed start time. Allowance for lateness of the client or interruptions caused by the client are not provided for. Exceptional circumstances are assessed solely at the trainer's discretion. Lateness on behalf of the trainer will be made up either within that session or at a following session.
Payment of Fees
- The Client shall pay the whole fee to the Beez Kneez prior to the client commencing the course.
- The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances whatsoever except with the prior written agreement of The Beez Kneez.
Refunds and Transfers
- Courses and sessions are non-refundable, unless 72 hours notice has been given. All sessions must be taken within each course. No sessions may be carried over to another course.
- The Beez Kneez unreservedly retain the right to provide an alternative trainer at any stage or a course.
- Sessions and courses are non transferable to another person.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift Vouchers require payment in advance by either the website, direct BACS transfer, or cheque (with cheque guarantee card) and will only be issued on receipt of payment. Email confirmation will be sent to the purchaser, who will receive the voucher within 7 days. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or be used in conjunction with any other offer and will expire after 6 months of the date of issue.
Medical Conditions or injuries
- All Clients are required to complete the relevant PAR-Q before commencing any course with the Beez Kneez.
- In the event of a medical condition, injury or other long-term circumstance preventing commencement or completion of a course, the Beez Kneez will defer the client’s place on a course to an alternative future course, where there is available space and upon receipt of a covering letter from the health care practitioner or doctor, which must be provided by the client.
Recommendations
- The Beez Kneez recommends specialist companies and other health care professionals from time to time, but will only accept responsibility for the recommendation alone. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain the appropriate references/qualifications/insurances/guarantees before instructing a hire specialist.
Responsibility
- The client is informed that the programmes of strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning involve slight risks of injuries and in extreme cases death that the Beez Kneez and Beez Kneez trainer seeks to minimise at all times. The client willingly undertakes the programme recognising such risks.
Enrolment and booking of a Beez Kneez course means:
- The Client has agreed to the above terms and conditions and payment, booking and cancellation terms.
- The Client has participated in a course with Beez Kneez voluntarily and The Client is aware that they can discuss their participation with their doctor before continuing.
- It is understood that the Client has not undergone a complete medical examination but has represented to The Beez Kneez and Beez Kneez trainer all physical disabilities, medical conditions and medication.
- The Client has completed a PAR-Q.
The Beez Kneez and the Beez Kneez trainer relies solely on the representations made by you and cannot be responsible for results of withholding of information or misinformation supplied.
The Beez Kneez Ltd. nor any of the Beez Kneez trainers will not be held liable for any other costs that might be incurred as a result of the cancellation.

The terms of your contract with us.
These terms apply to all participants of our classes who purchase the monthly membership pass.
1. Membership
Your membership starts from the date of purchase.
You will be a member for at least three full calendar months which is your minimum term. Your membership will continue automatically after your minimum term unless you give us at least seven working days notice. Please read section 5 below.
2. The Beez Kneez Fitness venues and classes You will choose one ‘home’ venue but we currently permit members to attend classes at any of The Beez Kneez venues. Participants not attending their ‘home’ venue must email

with 24 hours notice and register their full name and home venue with the instructor upon arrival.
We will ask you to transfer your membership to the venue you use most in any three month period.
3. Class timetables and instructors We reserve the right to change our timetable and instructors and will give you at least 10 days notice of any timetable changes affecting your home venue.
We may on occasion need to make additional temporary changes over and above seasonal changes to our class timetable. If possible we will notify you of our intention to do this. If our published classes are unavailable at your home venue or a venue within 20 minutes drive time for at least 20 days out of 60 you may be entitled to an appropriate refund.
4. Monthly fees a. You need to pay your full monthly membership fee in advance (for the month to come) by Direct Debit. This will be taken from your bank account on the first working day of every month.
b. Missing monthly fee payments If you don’t pay your monthly membership fees on time, we or our processing agent will e-mail to tell you. You will be charged a one-off non-payment fee for this. You will not be able to attend classes until you have paid what is owed to The Beez Kneez.
If you still don’t pay, you are breaking this agreement. We could refer missed payments to a debt collection agency and claim compensation from you for an amount equal to the total fees, including fees you owe for the rest of the minimum term or if the minimum term has expired, the notice period.
d. Fee changes We review our class prices from time to time. We will give you at least one calendar month’s written notice of any such changes.
e. Other charges We may charge you up to £15 to cover our costs for the following:

Contacting you about failed payments

Putting your membership on hold and restarting it

Dealing with monthly fees that are not paid by direct debit
In addition we may charge you up to £30 when we refer what you owe us to a debt collection agency.
5. Suspending, cancelling or transferring your membership a. How to put your monthly membership pass on hold During the minimum term you can only put your membership on hold, with seven days’ notice if you have a medical condition that stops you attending classes. The on hold period can be between one and six months, and we will need proof of your medical condition (such as a doctor’s certificate).
Once you return, we will add the period(s) when membership was on hold to the end of your minimum term.
You can only put your membership on hold for full calendar months and must give us at least seven working days written notice before the end of the month. Your membership will then be suspended from the first day of the following month. For notices received less than seven working days before month end, your membership will be suspended on the last day of the following month.
b. How to cancel your monthly pass If you want to cancel your membership you must give us at least seven working days written notice before month end. Your membership will end on the last day of that month. For notices received less than seven working days before month end, membership will end on the last day of the following month.
Notices received after 17.30 will be processed on the next working day.
If you notify us during your minimum term, your membership will finish at the end of that month or upon the expiry of the minimum term whichever is later.
You are responsible for ensuring that we have received your written notice.
(i) Cancellation for medical reasons, relocation or redundancy We may allow you to cancel your monthly pass before the end of the minimum term if you have made all payments and:

c. How to transfer your membership Your membership is personal to you and cannot be assigned or transferred to another individual.
You can apply to transfer your membership to another venue. Your monthly pass at your new venue will start on the first day of the following month.
If for any reason The Beez Kneez decides to no longer run classes at your home venue you can transfer your monthly pass to a suitable alternative venue straight away.
If there is no other suitable venue then you will be able to cancel your membership upon the closure of your home venue with 7 days notice.
6. Our right to cancel your monthly pass We will cancel your monthly pass immediately if you seriously or repeatedly:

Break these terms and conditions

Put the health, safety or wellbeing of other members or our employees at risk

Allow other people to use your membership to attend classes

Engage in any disruptive behaviour
7. Our responsibility to you We are not legally responsible for any possessions you lose or that are damaged or stolen by anyone unless we have been negligent. If you have an accident or injure yourself at one of our classes you must report this to the instructor straight away.
8. Your personal information We take our responsibility for looking after your personal information very seriously. You can find out how you can see the information we hold about you or how to ask us to change this information in our privacy policy which is on our website www.beez-kneez.co.uk
You are responsible for informing us about any changes to your personal information.
9. Changes to these terms and conditions We may change these terms and conditions. We will give you at least 30 days notice to inform you of any significant changes that may affect your monthly pass and also publish the updated terms and conditions on our website.
